We Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Million Man March and Present: The Plan for Black America
Redemption 2019 is proud to announce the launch of "The Plan for Black America," an ambitious initiative aimed at harnessing the economic power of Black America which is currently estimated at $1.6 trillion in annual spending. This comprehensive plan seeks to create good-paying jobs, purchase farmland, build affordable housing and ultimately establishing an economic engine that will confront racism from a position of strength.
The primary goal of Redemption 2019 is to capture a portion of this significant spending power to foster sustainable economic growth within Black communities across the nation. By investing strategically in local economies, we aim to create opportunities that empower individuals and families, ensuring they have access to the resources and support needed for a prosperous future.
"The Plan for Black America is not just a strategy; it’s a movement towards economic self-determination aimed at benefiting the masses of our people," said Demetrius Bledsoe, President of Redemption 2019. "We believe that by channeling our collective resources, we can dismantle systemic inequalities and confront racism from a position of strength. It is our unity that petrifies our enemies. This is why there has always been enormous opposition against our unity. If we are united with economic, political and spiritual power, the descendants of slaves will produce the Kingdom of God. As God said to Abraham, stating that his descendants would be strangers in a foreign land, enslaved, and mistreated for 400 years. God’s promise is that afterwards, they will come out with great substance. Lord knows that we have done our time. We have completed the 400-year span of the prophecy written of and our unity coupled with righteousness will produce the Kingdom.”
Key components of Redemption 2019 include:
- Organization Ministries will be developed to uphold & sustain a quality of life within our communities. It is apparent that Black America can no longer rely on government to promote the general welfare of its citizens as it is written in the Preamble of the U.S. Constitution relating to poverty, housing, food and other economic/social welfare issues.
Budget cuts or an outright dismantling of departments within the federal government are betraying its citizens. Therefore, Ministries of Justice, Emergency Services, Education, Agriculture, Housing, Youth Empowerment, Senior Services, Finance, Real Estate Revitalization, Political Affairs, Foreign Affairs, Health & Mental Services, Arts, Crafts & Sports will be created to counter the adverse actions of this present U.S. Government administration and Supreme Court.
- Job Creation: Development of initiatives aimed at providing high-quality job opportunities within local communities to combat unemployment and underemployment.
- Farmland Ownership: A focus on purchasing and redistributing farmland to ensure Black farmers have access to land, resources, and markets necessary for success in the agricultural sector.
- Affordable Housing: A commitment to building affordable housing that meets the needs of families and individuals, ensuring safe and accessible living environments.
Redemption 2019 envisions a future where economic empowerment leads to social justice and equality. Through strategic partnerships and community engagement, this plan will mobilize resources that uplift Black communities across America.
We invite community leaders, organizations, and individuals to join us in this critical movement to redefine the economic landscape of Black America. Together, we can confront the challenges of racism and white supremacy with resilience and strength, paving the way for a brighter future for our children.
